The Federal Government on Wednesday announced the partial closure of Adeniji Adele – Falomo road from today’s night and total closure from Saturday evening to Monday morning.

Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mrs Olukorede Kesha, who announced it on behalf of the Federal Government in a statement, noted that the closure was to enable the contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Ltd (CCECC) to commence milling works between Osborne Phase I (traffic light) and Osborne phase II.

She stressed that milling was to allow that section to be resurfaced with asphalt from Saturday evening, for it to be opened by Monday morning (before 5 am).

“During the milling works the road will be partially closed as is ongoing, while for the asphalt resurfacing works there will be full closure,” she added.
